Based on the political and budgetary realities of the company at the time, few areas were prioritized for digital transformation for the two leading pipeline molecules under development. Existing solutions in the market were explored and recommended by Kinders according to several factors including best fit with the problem, data architecture and interoperability with existing systems, functionalities, and total implementation cost.

Based on the device company's capabilities and the prioritized unmet needs of the patients, practical digital solutions were designed and developed by Kinders. The digital solutions created new supportive services for patients with devices, simplified clinician workflow, created new revenue opportunities. The designed solutions took advantage of key lessons to date about healthcare data and interoperability, patient and provider engagement issues, and workflow aspects of introducing new digital solutions.
